Murray, AR


  1. From Little Rock take Hwy 7 North at Russellville to Jasper.
  2. From Jasper to go to TRR, go north on Hwy 7 and over the Little Buffalo River bridge. Make an immediate left after the bridge onto Hwy 74.
  3. Turn left onto Hwy 327, which is steep curving intersection. Hwy 327 goes to Parthenon.
  4. At Parthenon, stay on the main road turning left at the two story rock building. Go over the bridge for about a mile. You will then see road sign to Murray.
  5. Turn right at the Murray Road sign. The Murray Road is a dirt road.
  6. After turning right on the Murray cutoff go approximately 3 miles down the Murray Road, you will come to a fork which has a sign that says Beckham Creek. Do not go straight towards Beckham Creek. Go left to Murray.
  7. From the fork you go up the mountain on and then go down the mountain. As you go down the mountain, you will see a bank of mailboxes with a sign Murray to the left and Shiloh to the right. The distance from the fork where you go left up the mountain to the mailboxes is approximately 1.5 miles. As you are coming down the mountain overlooking the mailboxes, you can see Turtle Rock Retreat. You will also see turtle Pond. Go left by the mailboxes and you will also go past the Turtle Rock mailbox, a single mailbox by a 20' red gate on your right. Go past the red gate a couple hundred yards and you will come to the entrance way on your right. The entrance way has an attractive wood fence and a reddish orange tube gate. You cannot miss it.
